This product is a performance tune to suit all Holden models VT up to VZ equipped with a 5.7L V8 including Commodore, Calais, Statesman & HSV models fitted with 1.8:1 High Ratio Rockers. Unlike some others available on the market, this tune has been developed using data collected from numerous dyno and street tunes that we have performed to provide a significant power increase for these engines.
The tune is provided to you ready to install on an exchange computer (PCM) we have in stock. Once you have installed the provided computer and are satisfied you simply send your original back to us. Alternatively you can choose to keep your original computer if you wish although the deposit will not be refunded (see below). We have numerous computers already in stock to avoid long delays between customer transactions. Otherwise if you wish you can send your original computer to us for re-programming.
Customised for 1.8:1 High Ratio Roller Rockers!
A popular modification for these vehicles is installing high ratio roller rockers to improve performance. Similar to installing a mild camshaft high ratio rockers increase performance by increasing the amount by which the valves open improving flow through the cylinder head, however they are much easier to install. This tune has been customised on a dyno to compliment the installation of 1.8:1 High Ratio Rockers and ensure the maximum power and reliability of the engine. Huge Power Increase!
With a good exhaust system and the High Ratio Rockers installed, typical power output that can be expected is between 250-260kw at the wheels with significantly increased torque across the rev range. This equals over 320kw at the engine up from the standard 220kw provided from factory. The results are achieved through the recalibration of both ignition timing and fuel mapping. The end result is a greatly noticeable performance increase that pushes you back in your seat and reduces acceleration times greatly. Fuel economy should not be affected through the use of this recalibration and in some circumstances an improvement in fuel economy can be seen.
Keep or Remove Your Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF).
This tune is available in both MAF and MAFLESS versions depending on your preference. On the 5.7L motor the MAF sensor creates a significant restriction to the flow of air into the motor and reduces performance. When fitting an Over The Radiator (OTR) intake the MAF sensor can be difficult to install and in fact due to the short length of the intake pipe does not work correctly causing invalid readings and reduced performance.
Improved Automatic Shifts!
In addition to the performance gained from the increased output power, in automatic vehicles the transmission shift pressures have also been increased slightly to improve transmission shift time & firmness therefore improving the performance and feel of the vehicle.

The tune is provided to you ready to install on an exchange computer (PCM) we have in stock and detailed installation instructions with pictures are provided. Installation typically takes 30mins and requires only basic tools.

When you purchase a tune from us we first discuss what modifications your car has and modify our base tune to best suit your vehicle. This increases performance and reduces the risk of damaging your vehicle.
Dyno Tuning & Installation Service
If you require dyno tuning for increased performance or for a heavily modified vehicle we can provide this for an additional cost. Also we can offer installation of our off the shelf tunes for an additional fee if you are located within Sydney or the Central Coast. Please contact us at for more information.
A deposit of $200 must be made on top of the final price to ensure the safe return of the original engine computer. Once this is returned the $200 will be refunded. You can choose to keep your original computer if you wish although the $200 will not be refunded. The $200 deposit is available from our other items.
When running these high performance tunes we recommend you try run a minimum of 95 Octane Premium Unleaded and where possible 98 Octane. Although it is safe to run standard 91 Octane unleaded if other alternatives are not available, it is advised that you should avoid heavy acceleration to protect your engine.
